RemedEase Wellbeing

"What lies behind us and what lies ahead of us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us"

Ralph Waldo Emerson

Hello & Welcome

I'm Victoria and I'm a Glasgow based Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and a registered member of BACP (Membership No. 400527 MBCAP ). I am currently holding sessions in person at the Wellbeing Rooms in Bearsden and also remotely through the online platform Whereby.

I am currently specialising in supporting clients with
depression, self-esteem, anxiety disorders, grief, pregnancy & fertility issues and anger struggles. Although I am qualified in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), I use an integrative counselling approach, using a combination of CBT, compassion focused therapy (CFT) and person centred (PC). As a therapist I aim to put your needs at the centre of all I do, providing a safe space as we work through the hard stuff together.

I began my counselling journey in 2016 when I started volunteering for a children's mental health charity. I fell in love with supporting others and decided to step away from my career in the creative industries and work towards becoming a qualified therapist. I formed RemedEase Wellbeing to combine my counselling and creativity skills together to support others in finding the simple joys in life again.

Life can throw various challenges our way, some having a bigger emotional impact than others. I’m here to support you in navigating through the challenging thoughts & emotions that may have become an unhelpful pattern in your life. As a therapist, I put my clients needs at the centre of everything I do. Using an integrative approach as I understand every individual has unique needs and there is no 'one size fits all' when it comes to therapy. I offer a safe, non-judgemental space for you to share whatever you feel comfortable with at your own pace, working through the hard stuff together.

Although I am currently specialising in self-esteem, anxiety disorders, depression, grief, pregnancy & fertility issues and anger struggles, I also have experience working with trauma, relationship problems and group work for those recovering from addiction.
